1. Jalapeno Mustard
Categories: Sauce, Condiment, Mustard, Pepper, Jalapeno
Yield: 2 Cups
2 c Prepared mustard
1 sm Onion; finely chopped
1 To 2 jalapeno peppers;
seeded and minced
1 ds Salt
1 tb White vinegar
Garnish: minced jalapeno pepper
Combine first 5 ingredients, stirring well. Garnish, if desired.

2. "Jammy Muffins"

Yield: 12 Muffins
2 tb AM Unrefined Vegetable Oil
1/4 c Raw honey
2 c Whole Grain Bran Muffin Mix (Arrowhead Mills)
1 Egg beaten or egg replacer
1 c Water
Prepare Whole Grain Bran Muffin Mix according to package
directions. Before baking, spoon 1 teaspoon apple butter (or
favorite flavor) into center of the unbaked muffin. Bake at 350
degrees F. for 25-30 minutes.

3. Jif Shakes
Ingredients
•
1 cup cold milk
•
1/4 cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
•
1 cup vanilla ice cream
Directions
•
Place milk and Jif in blender container. Cover and blend till
smooth.
•
Add ice cream; blend till smooth.
•
Makes 2 servings.
•
Banana Jif Shakes: Prepare recipe as directed above, except add
a sliced banana to the blender container with the Jif.

4. Johnny & Kay's Steak De Burgo
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. butter or
margarine
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. sweet
basil
2 slices beef tenderloin (4
oz. ea)
to taste each salt, pepper
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet over high
heat. Add minced garlic clove and sweet basil. Cook
quickly until garlic is clear but not burned. Sprinkle
beef slices with salt and pepper: Cook in seasoned butter
to desired doneness.
Note* BBQ any good steak and use mixture at end of cooking time

5. Jumbo Prawns a la Plancha
Ingredients:
20
whole jumbo praws, preferably with heads o (about 1-1/2 lb.)
3 tbsp. sherry vinegar
4 cloves garlic, fiely sliced
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tsp. dried chili flakes
pinch kosher salt
1
lemon, thinly sliced crosswise
Directions:
Spread prawns out in 1
layer in a large cazuela or oven proof glass baking dish.
Combine sherry vinegar, garlic, olive oil, chili flakes and
salt. Mix well and pour over prawns. Turn them over
a few times in marinade to coat well. Scatter lemon slices
on top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 - 3
hours. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking
and drain prawns, reserving marinade. Heat a griddle or
large sautè pan to medium-high heat. Place half of prawns
on hot griddle and drizzle half of marinade on top. Cook 3
- 4 minutes, turning them once or twice, until cooked through.
Repeat with remaining prawns and marinade. Serve
immediately.
